About the charity

Meet Yamim Tovim Ashdod

Our story

Yamim Tovim Ashdod was founded out of a deep understanding that many older people in Israel live in loneliness and hardship. We saw the need, we felt the pain, and we decided to act.

Every day we go out into the community — visiting homes, bringing food parcels, arranging medicine and essential supplies, and above all giving people the feeling that someone sees them, hears them and cares.

The charity works in Ashdod and the surrounding area with a dedicated team of volunteers who know each of our older adults personally. We are not an anonymous organisation — we are a family.
